Branches are offering an drop-in information and training event about Narcan, an antidote which can reverse an opioid overdose. A representative from Outreach and Harm Reduction Services of the Mercer County Department of Human Services will explain how to detect an opioid overdose, walk through how to use Narcan to reverse an overdose, and answer any questions. These are drop-in events; stop in anytime during the program’s duration to learn how you can save a life. Each attendee will receive a free Narcan kit.
