Outdoor Fresh Air Funtime: Celebrating Pride Month

West Windsor Branch Children’s Program

Fresh air Funtime is a program held outdoors where we will read a story together, learn some songs and rhymes, and explore nature. The suggested age for this program is children 2 – 5 years old with a caregiver. Please bring a blanket to sit on, and dress for the weather.

The short story — short in length, but full of content! Join our discussion group, which focuses on the short story. This month, in honor of Pride, we’ll read and discuss Patricia Highsmith’s short stories, “A Girl like Phyl,” “Slowly, Slowly in the Wind,” and “Doorbell for Louisa.”  Copies of this month’s stories are available at the Hopewell Branch Reference Desk.

Hope Rises Up and Prism—Bending the Light are hosting a Pride family picnic and dance party! Hope Rises Up seeks to make social and political advocacy accessible to local community members who want to strengthen progressive and inclusive values and policies both locally and nationally.
