The year’s theme is Adventure Begins at Your Library. The program runs from
June 17th to August 10th, 2024
and is for all ages! We have three programs, separated by age group: Children, Teen, and Adult. You may register at any point throughout the Summer Reading Program, but the deadline to log your completed books is Saturday, August 10th at 5:00 pm.
Children and Teens
The Children’s Summer Reading Program is for ages infant to 11 years old and the Teen Summer Reading Program for ages 12 to 18 years old.
How to Participate
- Stop into the branch to pick up a reading log. Registration starts on Monday, June 17th, but you can register at any point throughout the summer. If you plan to be away during the program, you can still participate during the week/weeks you are here.
- Write your first & last name, age and branch inside your log.
- Write down how many minutes you read each day in a blank box. Any reading or listening counts, and it’s okay if you don’t read every day!
- Bring your log back to the library once each week between Monday, June 24th and Saturday, August 10th to receive a prize. One prize is given per week. No prizes given for missed weeks.
Adults
Choose one of two ways to participate: online or in-person. You may chose to participate on paper or online, but please keep with your chosen format throughout the summer.
