Directions

From the N.J. Turnpike
  1. Take Exit 8 and follow the signs to Route 33 East, towards Freehold.
  2. Stay toward the right.
  3. Go through the traffic light at Lake Drive.
  4. The right lane will turn into an exit-only lane, with a CVS on the right.
  5. Take the exit.
  6. Go left at the stop sign.
  7. You will see the Twin Rivers Animal Hospital on your left and then a blue Library sign on your right. Turn right at the library sign.
  8. Drive straight back through the open parking lot until you arrive at the library’s parking lot all the way at the end.
From Princeton or Route 1
  1. Take Route 571 (Princeton-Hightstown Road) into East Windsor.
  2. After the light at Old Trenton Road, stay in the right lane and take the exit for Route 133 East.
  3. Travel on Route 133 East until you see the exit for 33E/Freehold/Hightstown (last exit before toll).
  4. At the bottom of the exit ramp, bear left.
  5. Stay in the right lane on Route 33E.
  6. Go through the traffic light at Lake Drive.
  7. The right lane will turn into an exit-only lane, with a CVS on the right.
  8. Take the exit.
  9. Go left at the stop sign.
  10. You will see the Twin Rivers Animal Hospital on your left and then a blue Library sign on your right. Turn right at the library sign.
  11. Drive straight back through the open parking lot until you arrive at the library’s parking lot all the way at the end.
From Freehold or East
  1. Take Route 33 West
  2. Less than a mile after the light at Applegarth Rd, you will see a large cement sign that says “Twin Rivers.”
  3. Take the exit, then bear left in the jughandle to make a left turn onto Twin Rivers Drive.
  4. At the traffic light, cross over Route 33.
  5. Make a right at the first street (Abbington Drive).
  6. Follow Abbington Drive until you see a bus stop shelter on your right.
  7. Turn left into the shopping center parking lot.
  8. Drive straight back until you can go no further.
  9. The Twin Rivers Library will be the last building on your right.
From Hamilton/Robbinsville Areas
  1. Take Route 130 N to East Windsor.
  2. Follow signs to Route 133 East.
  3. Exit onto Route 133 East and follow the directions above for Princeton and Route 1.

About the Branch

Twin Rivers has a diverse selection of books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, audiobooks, and CDs for all ages. Let us help you find the book you’ve been dying to read or suggest something new from our shelves. If we don’t have an item available, we are happy to have it delivered from another branch. Don’t forget you can also borrow digital items on your computer, phone, and tablet. Ask us for help finding books, movies, TV, music, and magazines through our virtual branch.

Internet and Technology

Free Internet access is available on all of our public PCs. We also have Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Our staff are happy to help you with computer questions. You are welcome to bring your own device and connect to our free wireless service. We also have printers, a copier, and a scanner for document or image scanning.

For Adults

There’s more than books and DVDs. Using our public computers, you can connect with others through social media like Facebook and Goodreads, create professional documents in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and more. Our goal is for you to feel good using technology, and we will take the time to help answer your questions. Looking for information on a topic and finding yourself stumped? Our librarians can help you get answers, whether you are researching something historical or current.

For Kids and Teens

Our children’s collection includes popular juvenile series, books for teens, picture and board books for the little ones, plus books on CD, children’s movies, and read-alongs. We also have children’s books in Spanish. If you need assistance finding appropriate reading materials for your child, our youth services librarian can help you find great books.

The Friends of the Twin Rivers Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports the library, its services and programs by building volunteer involvement and raising funds to provide special programs and materials that benefit all of our patrons and that are not included in the library’s regular budget.
